The annual Geneva International Watch & Clock Fair has come to an end. The exhibition is now the 25th. Each time, it reflects the aesthetics and craftsmanship of high-end watches with a new look. As a well-known watch brand participating in the exhibition, Parmigiani has released a number of brand-new products at this exhibition, so that we can feel the brand’s excellent watchmaking skills, while also experiencing outstanding aesthetic design, which is endlessly memorable. The following edits and summarizes all the new products launched by Parmigiani during this exhibition for your review.
Parmigiani Tonda 1950 Skeleton skeleton watch
The Parmigiani Tonda 1950 Skeleton full skeleton watch reveals the amazingly complex mechanical devices and characteristics of ultra-thin watches. It is a tribute to simple and ultra-thin models, and it shows a kind of adherence to the tradition of watchmaking A insistence on the use of simple lines to create immortal beauty. This watch is different in that the Tonda 1950 Skeleton full skeleton watch has a dial, and the sapphire dial makes the dial perfect in appearance. Only a slight metal is applied to the bezel, which makes the movement elegant when embedded in the case. As for the Parmigiani logo on the dial, the usual arrangement and placement will destroy the harmonious beauty of the openwork movement. Therefore, the form of inlay on the top of the dial is intimately used.

1950 Skeleton Women’s Watch
In terms of dial details, Parmigiani ladies’ models are distinguished from men’s watches in a very interesting way. Women’s models are characterized by detailed frosted dials, showing a looming hazy beauty. This design starts from the exquisite and delicate feelings of women, and the tough edges and corners of the movement are visually blurred, thus showing a soft feeling. This layer of hazy ‘veil’ is also reminiscent of the unique wood grain white dial of the Tonda 1950. This unique decoration greatly enhances the texture of the dial, making the Tonda 1950 among the most successful models of Parmigiani.

The dial of this special watch is made of charming meteorite, available in dark blue and black. It is characterized by a texture that exudes unpredictable beauty, showing a chic beauty. Because the meteorite experienced rapid temperature changes when entering the atmosphere, its surface was imprinted with an irreversible crystal structure, but even so, it looked quite natural and harmonious. Meteorites must undergo a series of acid bath treatments to gradually reveal the magnificent lines created by this natural influence.

The Tonda 1950 is Parmigiani’s first ultra-thin watch, showing the brand’s aesthetics and classic style elements that blend with it. The slender and simple outline, two decorative lugs and a harmonious ratio at a glance show the time vividly: hours, minutes, small seconds.
Since its launch in 2011, the Tonda 1950 has been paired with selected Hermes leather straps, showing the watch’s elegant and simple lines. For the first time in 2015, Parmigiani will match the Tonda 1950 with a rose gold bracelet. The proportion of the bracelet is designed to show the pure, slender lines of the watch, and it will not take the lead.
