To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the first Porsche sports car, Chopard has once again held a commemorative exhibition at the 6th Porsche Racing Party held at the LagunaSeca Speedway on the east side of Monterey, California. As a car enthusiast and collector, Chopard co-president Karl-Friedrich Scheufele drives the Porsche 550SpyderRS every year for the MilleMiglia. Because of this, Chopard has established a deep connection with Porsche and this world-famous race.
At the four-day racing party, 2,000 models were brought together, which was dizzying and shared the 70-year history of Porsche. Among them, the Chopard Chopard Memorial Exhibition showed 70 fine Porsche models, and at the same time, visitors could enjoy the Chopard Chopard ClassicRacing timepieces at the scene. To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Porsche sports car, Chopard has launched a MilleMigliaClassicChronographRacingStripes watch limited to 50 pieces worldwide. The dial and caseback of this watch are designed with racing stripes, inspired by the racing stripes of the Cunningham team in 1951, to pay tribute to the spirit of American racing. On September 27th, Carl Frederick Schaefer and legendary racing driver Jack Ickx held an exclusive dinner in the Chopard exhibition area to celebrate the new MilleMiglia watch face world.
